PLUMBING ESTIMATE CALCULATORS

A plumbing estimate calculator: repipe ranges before you drive out.

Homeowners put off repipes because they can’t tell whether it’s a few thousand dollars or a second mortgage. A calculator built from your past jobs answers that on the page.

WHERE IT BREAKS

Estimate calculators for plumbers: what goes wrong.

01

One calculator for every job

A generic “plumbing cost” widget can’t tell a slab-foundation repipe from a tankless swap, so its number helps no one.

02

Ranges that ignore the house

Repipe price swings with stories, bathrooms, and how the pipe is reached. A range that leaves those out sets up an argument on site.

03

Patching left out of the number

If drywall repair isn’t in the range and shows up in your quote, the homeowner feels misled, even though it was always part of the job.

WHAT WE RUN

Built for plumbers. Run by us.

A calculator per install

Repipe, water heater, and sewer line each get the inputs that actually move that job’s price.

Ranges from your own tickets

We build the ranges from jobs you’ve already done, grouped by home size and scope, not from national averages.

What’s included, spelled out

The result says what the range covers, like access holes, patching, and whether permits are in it, so the in-home quote isn’t a surprise.

The answers go to your plumber

Your plumber gets the homeowner’s answers and the exact range on screen with the booking, before anyone knocks on the door.

AN EXAMPLE WE WROTE

Example repipe estimator: questions and result screen (written by BlueSmith)

  1. 01Q1: Home size, picked from three bands of square footage.
  2. 02Q2: How many bathrooms? 1, 2, or 3 or more.
  3. 03Q3: One story or two? Slab or raised foundation?
  4. 04Q4: What pipe do you have now? Galvanized, copper, polybutylene, or not sure.
  5. 05Q5: Is anything leaking right now? A yes routes to dispatch instead of the estimator.
  6. 06Result: “Homes like yours usually fall in [your range] with us, including access holes and patching. Your plumber confirms the number after a walk-through.” Then the booking calendar.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS

Questions we hear.

Can you really price a repipe online?

As a range, yes. Home size, bathrooms, stories, foundation, and current pipe cover most of the swing. Your plumber still walks the house before writing the number.

Should water heaters show a price too?

Yes. Tank versus tankless is often the real decision, and seeing both ranges side by side helps the homeowner choose before you arrive.

What about sewer lines we can’t see until the camera goes in?

The calculator shows a wider range and says the camera inspection sets the final scope. It still filters out homeowners expecting a quick, cheap fix.

Will showing prices start a race to the bottom?

The point isn’t to look cheapest. It’s to show what work at your standard costs, patching and cleanup included, so nobody is surprised at the kitchen table.

Your crew is ready for the next job. Is your calendar?
