HARDSCAPE PROJECT CALCULATOR

A concrete and hardscape estimate calculator that prices every finish.

Homeowners can’t tell stamped from pavers from stone, or why the price changes. A calculator that shows all three side by side does the explaining for you.

WHERE IT BREAKS

Estimate calculators for hardscape contractors: what goes wrong.

01

Homeowners don’t know their square footage

Ask for a number and they guess or quit. Most can pace off a patio, but nobody told them how.

02

One finish, one number

Showing a single price hides the choice that moves it most, and the homeowner never sees why pavers cost more.

03

Tear-out and access ignored

Removing an old driveway or wheeling everything through a side gate changes the job, and a range without them sets the wrong anchor.

WHAT WE RUN

Built for hardscape contractors. Run by us.

A sizing helper

Pick from common sizes or pace it off with a simple guide, so homeowners get a usable estimate without a tape measure.

Finishes side by side

Every result shows each finish you install, with your ranges, so the upgrade conversation starts on the page.

Tear-out and access built in

Existing concrete, lawn, or dirt, and whether equipment can reach the site, adjust the range the way your pricing does.

The chosen finish goes to the estimator

Your estimator arrives knowing the size, the tear-out, and which finish the homeowner already likes.

AN EXAMPLE WE WROTE

Example hardscape project calculator question set (illustration only)

  1. 01Q1: What are you building? (Patio / Driveway / Walkway / Retaining wall / Outdoor kitchen or fire pit / A full backyard)
  2. 02Q2: About how big? (Pick a common size, or pace it off: one long step is about three feet)
  3. 03Q3: What’s there now? (Old concrete to remove / Lawn / Dirt / Not sure)
  4. 04Q4: Can a small loader reach the area? (Yes, wide access / Through a side gate / Not sure)
  5. 05Q5: Any slope or drainage problems you’ve noticed? (Yes / No / Not sure)
  6. 06Result: [your ranges] for broom, stamped, pavers, and stone, side by side. Note: soil, drainage, and taller walls are priced at the site visit. Then the site visit calendar.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS

Questions we hear.

Can a calculator price a patio without measurements?

Closely enough for a range. Common sizes and a pacing guide get homeowners near their real number, and your estimator measures at the site visit before writing the bid.

Should the calculator show every finish?

Yes, if you install them. Seeing broom, stamped, pavers, and stone side by side is often what moves a homeowner up a finish before you arrive.

What about retaining walls?

The calculator can give a range for shorter walls. Taller walls often need engineering or a permit, so the result says those are scoped in person.

Will small jobs still come through?

Some will. Their answers show the size before anyone drives out, so your team can decide whether to visit, quote by phone, or pass.

Your crew is ready for the next job. Is your calendar?
